Fixtech Care Policy
Fixtech – A Subsidiary of Mezatech LLC
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the repair services and product sales offered by Fixtech (“Fixtech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a subsidiary of Mezatech LLC. By engaging our services or purchasing our products, you (“the Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to abide by these Terms in full.
1. Scope of Services
Fixtech provides the following services and products:
- Instant Repairs: Rapid repair services performed at Fixtech branches or at the Client's location, typically completed within minutes.
- Home & On-Site Visits: Repairs conducted at the Client's home, office, or designated location when feasible.
- Pickup & Drop-off Repairs: Collection, extended diagnosis, and repair of devices requiring specialized attention.
- Retail Sales: Accessories, devices, and related products.
2. Repair Services
2.1 Instant & Home Visit Repairs
- Instant repairs may be carried out in-store or at the Client's premises.
- Repairs performed on-site are subject to environmental conditions suitable for service (e.g., adequate workspace, safety, and security).
- Upon completion, the Client must inspect and confirm the functionality of the device.
- Once accepted, Fixtech's liability is limited to the scope of the repair performed and any applicable warranty.
2.2 Pickup & Drop-off Repairs
- Devices requiring advanced diagnostics or repairs will be collected by Fixtech personnel.
- Diagnosis may require 24–48 hours, and repair completion may require up to 72 hours, subject to parts availability.
- Devices are transported with reasonable care. Fixtech assumes no liability for pre-existing defects or damage unrelated to the requested repair.
- If the Client declines repair following diagnosis, or if Fixtech deems the device beyond repair, a visit fee of 400 EGP shall be charged.
2.3 Rejection of Repairs
- If the Client chooses not to proceed with a repair, or if Fixtech determines the repair is not possible or safe, the Client remains liable for a 400 EGP visit/diagnostic fee.
- Devices deemed irreparable may be returned in the same or disassembled condition in which diagnosis was performed.
3. Fees & Payment
- All service fees, product prices, and applicable charges must be paid in full upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Diagnostic/visit fees are non-refundable.
- Fixtech reserves the right to adjust its prices without prior notice, provided that confirmed service requests shall be honored at the quoted rate.
4. Warranties
4.1 Repairs – Warranty Periods
Repairs performed by Fixtech are covered under the following standard warranty terms:
- Display/Screen Replacements: Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and installation faults. Warranty does not extend to physical or liquid damage.
- Battery Replacements: Six (6) months warranty against performance defects. Warranty void if device is exposed to water, unauthorized repair, or misuse.
- Other Internal Components (e.g., cameras, speakers, charging ports): Three (3) months warranty.
- Board-Level Repairs (e.g., micro-soldering, chipset repairs): Thirty (30) days warranty.
- Water Damage Treatments: No warranty provided, as outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
4.2 Warranty Limitations
- Warranty applies exclusively to the part replaced or the service performed, not the device as a whole.
- Warranty is void if:
- Device is damaged by liquid, accidental impact, or misuse after repair.
- Unauthorized repairs are performed by third parties following Fixtech service.
- Serial numbers, warranty seals, or identifiers have been tampered with.
4.3 Products & Accessories
- Unopened Products: Eligible for return or exchange within seven (7) days of purchase, provided they are in original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase.
- Opened or Used Accessories: Strictly non-returnable.
- Functional Accessories: Accessories confirmed by Fixtech technicians as non-defective cannot be returned.
- Damaged Packaging: Products or accessories with damaged or missing packaging are not eligible for return or exchange.
5. Liability
5.1 General Liability
- Fixtech shall exercise reasonable skill, care, and diligence in the performance of services.
- Fixtech shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data, software, or files during repair.
- Pre-existing damage or hidden defects not directly caused by Fixtech's service.
- Delays arising from parts shortages, supply chain disruptions, or force majeure events.
5.2 High-Risk Devices
- Devices previously repaired by third parties, or containing non-genuine, counterfeit, or “copy” parts, may present higher risks of malfunction or irreparable damage during repair attempts.
- In such cases, the Client is required to sign a Risk Acknowledgment & Liability Waiver Form prior to service.
- This waiver exempts Fixtech from all liability for consequential damage, data loss, or device failure occurring during or after the attempted repair.
- Without a signed waiver, Fixtech reserves the right to refuse service for high-risk devices.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Clients are responsible for backing up data prior to submitting a device. Fixtech is not responsible for lost data.
- Clients must disclose any prior repairs, replacements, or modifications made to the device.
- Clients must provide accurate contact details and ensure availability for collection, delivery, or home visits.
- Clients must promptly collect devices upon completion of repair or rejection.
7. Ownership & Abandonment
- Devices not collected within ninety (90) days from the date of completion, or from notification of repair rejection, shall be deemed abandoned.
- Abandoned devices will be safely disposed of as electronic waste (e-waste) in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Once disposed, devices cannot be returned or reclaimed under any circumstances.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
9. Amendments
Fixtech reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates shall become effective immediately upon publication on Fixtech's official platforms.
